Most of us, living with dementia or not, get tired later in the day. And as we are all very familiar, Daylight Savings Time tends to exacerbate those feelings. In fact, Daylight Savings is so unpopular that there is even a bill called the “Sunshine Protection Act” currently sitting in The House, waiting to be passed into law.
We each can play many roles in our lives. From son/daughter, worker, parent, role model spouse, and caregiver. Handling a plethora of roles at any given time can come with different sets of challenges and feelings.
November is not only Home Care and Hospice Care month but also National Family Caregivers month. In 2021, 1 in 6 Americans were caregivers of someone 50 years or older. Home Care Providers’ wants to acknowledge the love and care these family caregivers provide day in and day out.
